Come be enraptured by avant-garde music with Rainbow Cholla

What is Rainbow Cholla?
Golden Saguaro is a monthly series of local experimental music, sound art, performance, and media art that was founded in late 2019. During the cooler months (September - May), the series takes place in a converted garage about a mile east of Splinter. This month, the curators of the series are doing a special show away from home, an in absentia show at Splinter, where the ambient temperatures may be somewhat cooler. This show will also serve as the launch of a new offshoot series that will keep happening at Splinter, called Rainbow Cholla.

What is the Golden Saguaro all about?
The Golden Saguaro mission is to present the local community with live performances that cannot be found in the usual aboveground venues and to serve as a laboratory and testing ground for new and exploring artists as well as a home for diehard veterans of the Tucson avant-garde community. Rainbow Cholla aims to further these goals while also ramping up the inclusivity, bringing envelope-pushing artists from a variety of identities and origins.
