Main Objective:
To recognize and experience Andean Cultures from an ancestral, relational, and cyclical perspective recovering ways of knowing and caring that connect art, agriculture, and the rhythms of the earth

Workshop Themes:
Pachamama (Mother Earth)
Approach to the philosophical principle of Pachamama, such as vital space and time.
Chakana and Seeds: Geometry of Meaning
Collective creation of a chakana (Andean cross) with seed of a traditional Aguayo textiles, introductions to cyclical time and Andean cosmology.
Uywana: To Care is to Create
What is art? Nurturing as a creative and vital principle that bridges art, agriculture and reciprocity. Dialogue on the experience of art among the Andeas.
Seasonal Music
Exploration of Andean Instrumental linked to each season. Sounds ties to the agricultural cycle (planting, harvest, rest) Group practice of active listening.
Koa Offering
Offering created in community to give thanks and nurture the relationship with Pachamama (Mother Earth), the apus (mountain spirits), an other beings of the natural world.
