Sam Bloom, M. Ed, is a Black, queer gender flexible parent with a Master of Secondary Education degree from the University of Arizona where they finished with the highest of honors. Sam is an educator at heart and has taught in non-traditional classrooms including her sewing studio. They have been featured on the Pussycat Podcast and SewQueer podcast weighing in on all things Splinter Collective, body image, unapologetic Blackness and about using sewing as a way to reparent himself. She shares her life with two babies and a bunny. One of Sam’s favorite things to do is win and she will never turn down a game of Phase 10 — so just be ready to lose.
