🗣 There will be a lot going on during BHM but one thing you don’t want to miss is the return of LIGHT THE MIC FRIDAY!! Listen up! We only have THREE shows in 2026 🗣

Whether it’s your first time or 27th time, if you have something new you want to share, this is the place to do it! 💯 We’ve created a safer space for artists to experiment, build their confidence, and expand their audience. Some of your favorite local artists found their footing on this stage and we will continue the tradition.

This year Light The Mic will return for only THREE DATES IN 2026 — Black History Month, Juneteenth, and our 3yr anniversary in October 👏🏽There’s only THREE chances to perform at Light The Mic this year. Don’t miss your opportunity!!

Unfortunately, Last summer we had a tech issue because barely anyone showed up for soundcheck- so when it was time to play their music, the show was held up significantly trying to get the sound right.
ALL that to say, tech issues can be avoided when I have your materials THREE weeks before the show and have time to iron out any hiccups prior to the show 🫶🏾
